to come, especially tomorrow afternoon. >> we know you will keep us posted. thank you. more breaking news. d.c. police tell us late this evening, they have made three arrests in the high-profile beating of a de say -- d.c. man. t.c. was left for dead a month ago. autria godfrey is live with late breaking details on the suspects. >> these three were taken into custody this morning at the press conference earlier this night. we were told by the police chief at the crime spree the three went on, the night of the attack that led them to make the arrests. we just received information on who these people are. a 21-year-old, an 18 year-old, and another, a juvenile that has not been identified. earlier tonight, we are told the

vicious attack on t.c. that left the 29-year-old in critical condition was not the only one that night. several hours after that assault, about 3:00 in the morning, there was an armed robbery. three suspects in the 1800 block of 18th street. it was a huge part thanks to the public that they were able to bring these robberies to the attack of a married father. one police chief says in all three cases smartphones were targeted. it is terrible to realize a piece of property or a self on would lead to the type of grief and entry that was left on the family. these assaults were not as severe as t.c.'s. he has undergone four brain surgery. his wife said, this senseless act has left a mark on our

lives. the recovery will be long arduous, and uncertain. he has suffered in unthinkable ways as a result of the actions of these men. she expects to release more information tomorrow morning after their arraignment. reporting live, autria godfrey. >> good to see some progress, at least. we are falling breaking news from ocean city, maryland. a major fire broke out in a condominium near the intersection of coastal highway and 37 straight. officials say at least three families have been displaced. it is not clear what caused the fire. we are monitoring tonight from the district where police are searching for a thief. it happened at the intersection of 19th street and l street. a gun went off during the robbery but no one was hit. a man was assaulted by not brutally hard. the attacker -- prettily hurt.

today seems to be one of the brightest for the obama campaign. a new poll by cbs news, "the new york times", and a university. boaters in three battleground states ohio, pennsylvania, and florida, showed obama ahead between 9% and 12%. both candidates were campaigning in ohio today. president obama accused romney of saying his approach is not credible. he also said romney profited from companies that ship jobs to china. as for the republican challenger, we are joined by dirty jobs host in a rally outside cleveland. he was talking about jobs and manufacturing. president obama may have swag,. but he lacks the ability to fix the u.s. economy.
